Africa on Canvas buys paintings at fair market value directly from artists in Tanzania & donates all net proceeds from the resale to The Uganda Partnership Association, a Calgary organization working with widows in Uganda to develop projects that empower women & children to lead the way in changing their communities.

Better late than never, so they say. The final 10 paintings from the last order have arrived and have been added to the website. One has already been snapped up, so that leaves 9 for you to choose from.

Afrikadey! and Marda Gras this Weekend
Submitted: Wed, 08/05/2009 - 11:17 by LizRain or shine you'll be able to find us at Afrikadey! on Princess Island Park on Saturday, August 8th and then again at the Marda Gras Street Festival in Marda Loop on Sunday August 9th.
Visit our booth and take a look at all the items we don't have on the website like personalized name plates, carved Tingatinga wooden pencils, Tingatinga painted fish, hand painted greeting cards and much more. Unfortunately there are no Tingatinga umbrellas. :)
