In the News

It's been less than a year since Africa on Canvas joined forces with the Uganda Partnership (UP) and in April I had the opportunity to make my first visit to the project.  For three weeks I lived with a group of volunteers in a remote village in SW Uganda meeting with widows groups and working with them on a variety of different income generating projects.

Africa on Canvas at the 2010 Lilac Festival

Hello everyone!  It seems like such a long time since I have given you an update.

I am happy to announce that Africa on Canvas will be at the Lilac Festival this upcoming Sunday, May 30th.  Our location this year will be the same as years past, between 15th and 17th Avenue on 4th Street, directly across the street from the Rose & Crown Pub - and as you can see in the photo above quite close to Decidedly Jazz Danceworks.
