Africa on Canvas buys paintings at fair market value directly from artists in Tanzania & donates all net proceeds from the resale to The Uganda Partnership Association, a Calgary organization working with widows in Uganda to develop projects that empower women & children to lead the way in changing their communities.

Memeza Africa is Back!
If you have the chance to see Memeza Africa in concert don't miss out. The music is a unique blend of Canadian and African sounds and it's an amazing concert. The booming voices and beating drums will have you dancing and singing in no time. I'd recommend catching a show or two if you can! During last years tour Memeza Africa invited Africa on Canvas to set up art shows in conjunction with the two final Calgary concerts. It was wonderful to be a part of the Memeza tour and at the end Africa on Canvas donated 25% of the evening's proceeds to Memeza Africa. If we are able to do the same again this year I will post again about the locations and times. In any event I can't wait to see them in concert again!
